The term 'work in progress' very often implies embarrassment at a 'thing' not done. People will ask you how such and such a project is going, and you, a bit frustrated at the question, will answer sternly 'it's a work in progress'... However in any research, whether it is artistic, academic, or even trying to get your body to do something it until now couldn't do, the learning, playing around with different ideas/concepts/shapes/colours/movements, are fundamental to getting somewhere. It is through the wanderings that some direction or some voice is found.
Therefore, via these pages, I wish to celebrate with you the reader the open-ended nature of anything worth doing. Please feel free to snoop around, get interested and ask questions or raise some points if you feel so inclined. I will be much the happier if you do so. So enough talk; enjoy reading through the following project(s) I am currently working on, getting excited about and thinking about every time my mind wanders...
